Stars picking up pace but trail, 3-1

They dug a 3-0 hole first, but the Stars are finally starting to play some inspired hockey.

The goal by Steve Ott was the first crowd pleaser, and Matt Niskanen added another highlight later in the second period with a powerful check on Chicago's Colin Fraser to bust up a scoring opportunity.

It's still 3-1 Chicago after two periods, but at least the Stars are awake now.

Speaking of alert, Stars goalie Matt Climie has been sharp throughout the game. He has stopped 24 of 27 shots, including a nice block on a breakaway chance by Dustin Byfuglien late in the second. If the Stars end up losing this game, you can't blame it on Climie.
