Morrow listed as "probable" for Saturday

At Friday's practice, Stars coach Glen Gulutzan said Stars captain Brenden Morrow's left knee felt better than he expected and is listed as probable for Saturday's New Year's Eve clash with the Boston Bruins.

According to the Stars' media relations folks, Morrow had ice on the left knee, but was walking around on it.

He was hit in that knee by a puck in the second period of Thursday's 4-1 loss to Columbus and then tried to play the third period. But after one shift, Morrow said he knew he didn't have enough strength in the knee and did not play the rest of the game.

"He's got heavy swelling and bruising, but he felt better than we thought he was going to this morning," Gulutzan said. "Knowing [Morrow], he's probable for tomorrow. But there's some healing that has to be done before he's a go."
