Stars center Brad Richards is rehabbing from hip surgery following the season and reported that he hasn't had any setbacks.
"I see the doctor on Friday,” Richards told ESPN.com at the NHL Awards ceremony on Wednesday night. "I’ll start skating and see how it feels. I should be cleared to go in the next week or two."
Richards led the Stars with 91 points, including 67 assists. He had the surgery just after the season ended and is expected to be 100 percent by the time training camp begins.
Richards finished second in the voting for the Lady Byng Trophy behind former teammate Martin St. Louis.
