ESPN.com will have all the coverage from USA-Canada for you, but from a viewing perspective, it doesn't get much better than that in the Olympics, does it?
It may have just been a preliminary game, but seeing Team Canada play against the U.S. in Vancouver was really neat. You could tell the building was electric. That's a big 5-3 win for the United States.
Both teams sure played at a high level, didn't they? It was back-and-forth action and all kinds of great shots and great goaltending. Canada got the power play goal with less than four minutes left to really make things interesting. They were all over Ryan Miller to end the game, but the Americans got the empty net goal and sealed things.
Brenden Morrow had his best game of the Olympics, going hard to the net and helping to generate some scoring chances for Team Canada. But the U.S. gets the extra day off before the medal round begins.
Let's hope these two teams meet again in the medal round.
