Steve Ott practices (and other notes)

FRISCO -- The Stars conducting an hour-long practice and did some conditioning stuff to get back in the swing of things. A few quick notes (more to come this weekend):

* Steve Ott (appendectomy), Mark Fistric (knee surgery) and Brian Sutherby (shoulder) all practiced on Friday. Ott said he feels good and plans on being ready for Tuesday's game against Los Angeles at American Airlines Center.

* Marty Turco and Kari Lehtonen were on the ice getting into shape. Stars coach Marc Crawford said Turco is the No. 1 goalie, but Lehtonen would get worked into the lineup.

* The four Stars players that competed (or are still competing) in the Olympic games will likely not rejoin the team until Monday at the earliest. That includes Karlis Skrastins (Latvia), Jere Lehtinen (Finland), Brenden Morrow (Canada) and Loui Eriksson (Sweden).

* The Stars players immediately turned the TVs in the dressing room to the U.S.-Finland game as practiced ended and were stunned to see it was 6-0 in the first period. "That's unbelievable," Ott said. "The U.S. and Canada are sure playing well right now."
