About the Stars

The Stars rallied to beat Los Angeles 4-3 in overtime Monday night to run their points streak to six games (5-0-1). Brenden Morrow scored 38 seconds into overtime to give Dallas the win.

"It showed huge character for us to come out and get that two points," Morrow said of the Stars, who overcame one-goal deficits three times to get the game to overtime. "This group has been good about that all year. Last year and in years past, it was something we wouldn't be mentally tough enough to overcome. But now we just wipe those things away and try to steal the momentum on the next shift."

The game in Los Angeles wrapped up a four-game road trip that saw the Stars go 3-0-1 against Pacific Division rivals.

Wednesday’s game kicks off a seven-game homestand for Dallas.

Injuries: Brad Richards (concussion-like symptoms) and D Nicklas Grossman (hip) are day-to-day.

Jarome Iginla scored on a penalty shot in the second period to become the 10th player in NHL history to score 30 goals in ten straight seasons.

Injuries: C Brendan Morrison (knee), D Adam Pardy (shoulder), F Raitis Ivanans (concussion) and C Daymond Langkow (neck) are out.
