Actor Will Ferrell got into the charity and boxing spirit on Tuesday with the help of welterweight titleholder Timothy Bradley Jr.
The Hollywood star held a charity auction at the 10th annual Desert Smash tennis tournament at La Quinta Resort & Club in Palm Springs, Calif. The auction benefits Cancer for College, which has been providing hope and inspiration to cancer survivors by providing college scholarships since 1993.
Bradley, who is from Palm Springs, took some time out of his training schedule to attend the event and, along with star tennis players Novak Djokovic and Stanislas Wawrinka and actor Kevin Spacey, assisted in auctioning off a pair of ringside tickets to his April 12 rematch with Manny Pacquiao at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
Winner of the ticket auction? Ferrell, who bid $24,000 for the two tickets to attend the fight.
