Bush misses practice with calf injury

ALLEN PARK, Mich. -- While the Detroit Lions remain fairly healthy, running back Reggie Bush popped up with a new injury on Wednesday's practice report.

His calf.

Bush was one of three Detroit players to miss practice, joining Calvin Johnson (knee) and Louis Delmas (knee). But Bush was out at the media portion of practice going through stretching and holding a football as he went through lunges.

Bush said Wednesday that is due to his fumbles.

"I'm just trying to get an edge and find any little bit of time where I can just constantly remind myself and making sure that I am correcting my mistakes," Bush said. "Doing everything I can whenever my number is called on Sundays that I am not going to turn the ball over."

After declaring that his fumble against Pittsburgh would be his last of the season, Bush lost one against Green Bay on Thanksgiving.

Only one player was limited in practice for Detroit -- cornerback Chris Houston, who has an ailing foot.
