ALLEN PARK, Mich. -- The season is winding down and the Pro Bowl race continues to intensify.
As he has been throughout the season, Calvin Johnson remained in the top 10 of all vote-getters this week, still at No. 5 with 739,701 votes -- tops among wide receivers and 70 votes behind Kansas City running back Jamaal Charles for fourth place overall.
The other Lions in the top 10:
DeAndre Levy moved up to ninth among outside linebackers with 122,614, passing Minnesota’s Chad Greenway. He trails Green Bay’s Clay Matthews, currently in eighth place, by a little less than 5,000 votes.
David Akers dropped to 10th in kicker Pro Bowl voting with 46,112.
The same as last week, no Detroit offensive lineman was at the top 10 in their position group despite keeping Stafford clean for most of the season. Most surprising among those not on the list are rookie right guard Larry Warford and veteran center Dominic Raiola, both of whom are playing extremely well for the Lions.
