Hunt trails only Sims in scrimmage yards through four career games
Kareem Hunt ran for 101 yards and added 20 yards on receptions in the Chiefs’ win on Monday night. That increased Hunt’s total yards from scrimmage this season to 659, the second-most in NFL history through a player’s first four career games. The only man with more yards from scrimmage than Hunt over his first four NFL games was Billy Sims, with 745 for the Lions in 1980.
Butker kicks game-winning FG in debut
Harrison Butker, making his NFL debut, kicked a field goal with four seconds remaining in the fourth quarter to break a 20-20 tie. Three other active players kicked a game-winning field goal with less than five seconds remaining in the fourth quarter or during overtime in their first NFL game: Mason Crosby, Blair Walsh, and Randy Bullock.
Cousins now 0-5 on MNF
Kirk Cousins is now 0-5 in his career on Monday Night Football. Five other quarterbacks lost each of their first five starts on MNF: Joe Namath and Archie Manning (each his first six), along with Fran Tarkenton, Vince Evans and Rodney Peete (each his first five).
