With New York Yankees left-hander Aroldis Chapman joining a veritable host of others on the disabled list this weekend, the second, third and fourth relief pitchers chosen in ESPN average live drafts now feature the annoying asterisk next to their names, signifying their inclusion on the most popular list in baseball this season. Let’s just say Los Angeles Dodgers right-hander Kenley Jansen, the No. 1 guy, had better watch out. Chapman joined Baltimore Orioles lefty Zach Britton and San Francisco Giants right-hander Mark Melancon on the shelf with inflammation in his rotator cuff.
