Golf’s reigning superstar and the guy who used to hold that honor awkwardly appeared together on “The Tonight Show” on Monday night. Promoting their new line of Nike golf apparel, Rory McIlroy and Tiger Woods joined Jimmy Fallon in a game that involved chipping balls at pictures of faces. Well, McIlroy participated and Tiger weirdly stood there on the sideline watching. Sounds about right lately.
Tiger, who helped coach Fallon in the game, was his normal, delightful self after the show and graciously tweeted, “don’t quit your night job” to the late night host. Awwww! Adorable.

Rory might be the new king of the PGA, but Tiger still firmly holds his status as “most uncomfortable athlete to interact with EVER.” No offense, Kobe.
