It's Solheim Cup week, and U.S. captain Meg Mallon has plenty of experience in the event. Mallon, who last played on the U.S. team in 2005, is tied for third all-time with eight Solheim Cup events played, trailing only Europe's Laura Davies (12) and American Juli Inkster (9). Mallon also is tied for fourth, along with Dottie Pepper of the U.S. and Sophie Gustafson of Europe, with 13 total Solheim Cup match victories. Annika Sorenstam and Davies have 22 wins each, while Inkster has 15. Among current players, Europeans Catriona Matthew and Suzann Pettersen each have 12 career wins, while Americans Cristie Kerr and Paula Creamer each have 11.
