On paper, it looks like a mismatch. It’s Stanford against Texas A&M for the NCAA women’s tennis championship today in Urbana, Ill. Stanford has claimed 16 NCAA titles and has six runner-up finishes since 1982, while the Aggies will be making their first appearance in the finals. On top of that, Stanford is on a roll after knocking off top-seeded Florida, which was going for a three-peat, on Monday. The bright side for the Aggies? They, too, are riding some momentum. In their Monday semifinal, they rallied from a 3-1 deficit to knock off UCLA, which was the runner-up a year ago.
