Packers inactives: WR James Jones out

GREEN BAY, Wis. -- Already without leading receiver Randall Cobb, the Green Bay Packers won’t have another one of their top receivers, James Jones, on Sunday against the Cleveland Browns.

Jones sustained a left knee sprain in last Sunday’s 19-17 win against the Baltimore Ravens and did not practice all week. He was listed as questionable on the injury report.

Jones, who has 20 catches for 349 yards and two touchdowns, will be replaced in the starting lineup by Jarrett Boykin, who has one catch for 43 yards this season. Of the Packers' big three receivers, only Jordy Nelson (27 catches, 484 yards, four touchdowns) will be available against the Browns. Cobb (29 catches, 378 yards, two touchdowns) was placed on injured reserve/designated to return and will miss at least eight games because of a fractured fibula.

The only other receivers on the roster are former practice squad rookie Myles White and Chris Harper, a rookie who was claimed off waivers from the San Francisco 49ers on Friday. He did not practice with the Packers this week but was activated.

Outside linebacker Mike Neal, who did not practice all week and was listed as questionable with a bruised shoulder, will start. The Packers have three available outside linebackers -- Neal, Andy Mulumba (who also will start) and Nate Palmer.
