Practice report: James Jones still sidelined

GREEN BAY, Wis. -- Green Bay Packers receiver James Jones did not make it back to practice Thursday but appeared to working out off to the side.

Jones has not practiced or played since he sprained his left knee Oct. 13 against the Baltimore Ravens.

On Wednesday, Jones said he originally feared he sustained a season-ending injury.

Others who did not practice: linebacker Clay Matthews (thumb), linebacker Nick Perry (foot), tight end Ryan Taylor (knee) and tight end Jermichael Finley (neck).

Perry attended practice and appeared to be walking fine less than two weeks after he reportedly broke his foot. He was wearing gym shoes.

The Packers did not practice in pads like they have done on most Thursdays this season.
