GREEN BAY, Wis. – Following the Green Bay Packers' cuts on Saturday, here’s a position-by-position look at their roster.
It’s worth noting that this isn’t necessarily the roster they will take to San Francisco for the season opener Sept. 8. There are likely to be changes, perhaps as early as Sunday, when waiver claims go through the NFL’s transaction system.

Roster notes: Eight of the 11 draft picks made the final cuts. The only ones who did not were offensive lineman J.C. Tretter (fourth-round pick who is on the physically unable to perform list because of an ankle injury) and seventh-round receivers Kevin Dorsey (waived/injured) and Charles Johnson. … Fifteen players who were not on the active roster at any point last season made the final cut. In addition to the eight draft picks who made it (Datone Jones, Lacy, Bakhtiari, Franklin, Hyde, Boyd, Palmer and Barrington), the others who were not on the active roster last season were Banjo, Bostick, Coleman, Jolly, Mulumba, Quarless and Lane Taylor.
