He’s been doing it on the sidelines since his rookie year of 2006. He always finds a way to sneak into the background of the captains’ picture that is taken before kickoff. The Packers change captains every game, so there’s always a new picture.
There’s even a website, RodgersPhotobomb.com, that archives all of the pictures.
But he’s gotten more creative over the years, and it hasn’t stopped just because he has been sidelined since Nov. 4 with his broken collarbone.
Sunday’s picture may have been an all-timer. Behind captains Sam Shields, John Kuhn and Jarrett Boykin stood Rodgers dressed as Santa Claus. He was outfitted with a stocking cap, full white beard and glasses.
