Two-sport athlete picks Georgia State

Tyler Prince, who was the place-kicker for the football team and goalkeeper for the soccer team at Kell (Marietta, Ga.), verbally committed to Georgia State, according to his family.

Prince helped Kell to a 16-4 record this past spring soccer season, where the squad made the second round of the state playoffs before losing to POWERADE FAB 50-ranked McIntosh (Peachtree City, Ga.) 2-1. During the past football season, Prince converted 10 field goals.

Prince plays club soccer for North Atlanta Soccer Association, which is currently ranked No. 2 in the state in the Under-18 age group.

Prince joins fellow Georgia native Coleman Parks as recent Georgia State commitments. The university has confirmed a pair of international players in Conor Acheson from Ireland and William Mellors-Blair from England.
