A change of venue did little to thwart the dominance of St. Louis schools at this year's Missouri boys' soccer state championships, which where held outside of St. Louis for the first time ever.
DeSmet (St. Louis, Mo.) defeated Oakville (Oakville, Mo.) for the Class 3 crown and Priory (St. Louis, Mo.) downed Trinity Catholic (St. Louis, Mo.) in the Class 2 final in Kansas City, Mo. All four finalists are St. Louis-area schools.
