Monmouth lands transfer with ties to France

Francois Paco Navarro, from Paris, France, who was attending William Carey University in Mississippi, is transfering from the NAIA school to Monmouth.

Navarro scored 16 goals with seven assists last season while helping William Carey to a 16-4-3 season and an NAIA national semifinal appearance. He scored five match-winning goals and was selected as an NAIA second-team all-American as a sophomore.

Navarro joins a Monmouth recruiting class that includes David Camacho from Costa Rica, Jared Dublin and Dan Pizzimenti from New Jersey, Ryan McNamara and Tomas Penfold from New York and Zach Zurita from Connecticut.
