Marshall Glover, a starting defender for Georgia United, verbally committed to Stanford, his family confirmed Sunday.
The Class of 2013 prospect from Albany, Ga., has started in 22 of Georgia United's 23 under-15/16 Development Academy matches this season.
Glover plays high school soccer at Westminster (Atlanta, Ga.), which is ranked first among Georgia Class AA programs with a 10-2-2 record. He previously attended and played at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla.
He is the third player to commit to Stanford for the Class of 2013, joining Michael Griswold of California and Jordan Morris of Washington.
