Class of '13 defender commits to Brown

Jason Pesek, a Class of 2013 defender prospect from St. Louis, verbally committed to Brown, according to his family.

Pesek has started in 11 of his 12 appearances with the Scott Gallagher-Missouri Development Academy under-15/16 team this season, helping the team to a current second-place division standing. Scott Gallagher is rated No. 5 in the most recent ESPNHS Development Academy Power Ratings for the age group. He has scored one goal this season.

Pesek earned St. Louis Post-Dispatch All-Metro and Metro Catholic Conference first-team honors while playing at Chaminade (St. Louis) last fall.

He becomes the first confirmed commitment to Brown for the Class of 2013.
