Hannah Huffman heating up for Carondelet as playoffs loom. Plus, huge triple-doubles for Cajon duo along with Fresno Central’s Tina Maxwell.

Note: We’re proud once again to collect weekly writeups of the most significant individual high school basketball totals in California. We use these as the basis for updating the state record book, which has been published seven times, most recently in the spring of 2009. Sophie Bhasin (Cajon, San Bernardino)

She has been a triple-double machine all year long and she had two more last week as she scored 30 points with 11 rebounds and 11assists in a 73-46 win over Arroyo Valley. She later scored 38 points to go along with 15 rebounds and 10 assists in a 77-52 win over Carter of Rialto.

Tekerra Borden & Dalonna Jones (Merced)

Borden scored 29 points while Jones recorded a triple-double with 14 points, 21 rebounds and 12 blocks as the Bears defeated Atwater 59-38.

Dejaunee Brooks (Cajon, San Bernardino)

Like teammate Sophie Bhasin, she also has racked up the triple-doubles this year as she scored 19 points, grabbed 18 rebounds and had 11 assists against Arroyo Valley while later scoring 10 points to go with 15 rebounds and 11 assists in the win over Carter.

Ishana Burch (Christian Brothers, Sacramento)

Burch deserves to be put on a perch after she scored a game-high 34 points in a 69-47 win in Capital Valley Conference play against Rio Linda. Knights’ standout Paulette Williams also had a big game with 29 points.

Joesetta Fatuesi (Wilcox, Santa Clara)

If she continues to post double-doubles, the Chargers may make some noise in the upcoming NorCal Division I playoffs. In a 45-39 win over San Jose Lynbrook, the 6-foot-3 sophomore had 27 points and 17 rebounds with seven blocks.

Hanna Gilbert (Morro Bay)

A 6-foot-3 junior center, Gilbert is beginning to attract a lot of D1 college interest. In a 47-41 win last week against Lompoc, Gilbert was dominant in stretches and ended with 20 points, nine rebounds and seven blocks. Her team completed the first unbeaten league season in the 25-year career of head coach Cary Nerelli.

Evelyn Herrera (Workman, City of Industry)

Our former State Athlete of the Week filled up the stat sheet as she scored 30 points and had 10 steals, seven rebounds and five assists in a 71-23 win over Gladstone of Covina.

Hannah Huffman (Carondelet, Concord)

The Notre Dame-bound senior guard had a season-high 34 points in a 70-58 win over Foothill of Pleasanton.

Dashayla Johnson (Tulare Western)

The super sophomore had two solid games in league play as she scored 21 points and had six assists in a 63-43 win over Porterville and came back with a 32 points and seven steals against Cesar Chavez in a 62-56 victory.

Sabrina Johnson (Ocean View Christian, San Diego)

With the help of this talented sophomore, the Patriots have won 11 straight as she had 16 points, 14 rebounds and 11 steals for a triple-double in a win against Lutheran of San Diego.

Susanna Kolbeck (Villanova Prep, Ojai)

She scored 20 points and grabbed 15 rebounds in a win over Grace Brethren before nearly recording a triple-double against Malibu with 29 points, nine rebounds and seven steals.

Molly Kommer (Clayton Valley, Concord)

The 6-foot senior had her 15th double-double of the season after finishing with 26 points and 16 rebounds in a 75-32 win over rival Concord.

Ana Lasic (St. Francis, Watsonville)

The Sharks’ senior was biting last week. In a 63-44 win over Santa Cruz Harbor, she had a double-double 27 points and 13 rebounds. Lasic came back with 26 points, including 8-for-8 from the foul line, in a 60-47 win over Aptos.

Priscilla Lopez (Bethel Baptist, Santa Ana)

Nearly outscoring Crystal Cathedral of Garden Grove on her own, Lopez scored 31 points and grabbed a season-best 27 rebounds in a 54-34 win. She did outscore Bethel Christian of Riverside on her own to end the week as she again scored 31 points while grabbing 16 rebounds in a 63-8 win.

Tina Maxwell (Central, Fresno)

The CIF Central Section scoring leader is averaging 28.3 ppg. She scored 33 points and had 11 rebounds, 12 blocks and six steals in a surprise 53-47 win last week over Clovis West of Fresno.

Monet McNally (Los Angeles Baptist, North Hills)

The Knights have only lost twice all season but one of those came when she scored a season-high 32 points so she had to happy to get a win this time when she scored 32 points in a 63-40 win over Whittier Christian. McNally also had seven rebounds and six steals.

Michelle Miller (Poly, Pasadena)

The state's leading scorer at 32.3 points per game scored 42 points in a 97-22 win over Flintridge Prep of La Canada and then scored 32 points and grabbed 14 rebounds in a 75-14 win over Webb of Claremont.

Terilyn Moe, Terra Nova (Pacifica)

The Nevada-bound senior posted a triple double 25 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists (six steals) in a blowout of Half Moon Bay.

Rachel Nagel (Whitney, Cerritos)

After 32 points and 14 rebounds in a 49-27 win over St. Margaret's, this sophomore is now averaging a double-double with totals of 24 points and 10 rebounds a game.

Jackie Robles (Parlier)

She scored a career high of 32 points against Riverdale in a 52-45 win, which kept Parlier in first-place in the West Sequoia League.

Ideen Seyed (Los Altos)

The junior guard was busy scoring 28 points with 11 assists in a 62-40 win over Santa Clara.

Claesy Tarver (Arvin)

Tarver was in a different class during her team’s 73-42 victory over Bakersfield Christian. She scored 31 points and had eight steals in the South Sequoia League contest.
