All-State Stock Watch shows love to players named Austin

Each week, we'll take an in-depth look at our preseason All-State basketball team and let you know how a few of those athletes are faring as the season progresses. We'll feature a Prime-Time player (PTP), an Other Top Player (OTP) and an under the radar star who is making a bid to be one of the state's top players (UTR).

If you've got athletes you think we should mention in our All-State Stock Watch, hit me up on Twitter @CParishESPNHS.

PTP: Austin Haldorson, Highlands Ranch, Senior

Highlands Ranch is 15-0 and is No. 1 in our POWERADE Colorado Weekly Rankings, and Haldorson is a big reason why. The Wyoming recruit helped his team reach its 15th win thanks to his 22-point night against Douglas County in a 63-43 win. This season he's averaging 17.9 points per night and has been a model of consistency, reaching double figures every game so far.

OTP: Austin LeFebre, Denver Christian, Senior

What LeFebre did on Saturday night is the very definition of filling the stat sheet. In his team's game against Resurrection Christian, LeFebre had 24 points, 13 rebounds and eight blocks as his squad earned a 65-46 victory. The team is undefeated this season and LeFebre is averaging 21.8 points per contest.

UTR: J.T. Travis, Pine Creek, Senior

The deeper the season goes, the better Travis gets. He's already cracked the 40-point plateau in a game against Fossil Ridge earlier this season. He's averaging 24.9 points per game. Pine Creek just ended a five-game losing streak thanks to Travis' 27-point effort in a win over Rampart. Perhaps a win streak is in order now, and there's no telling what Travis can accomplish if his team gets rolling again.
