Armwood remained perfect atop the Florida rankings and continues to be rated the nation's No. 2 team in the POWERADE FAB 50. But the game of the week -- and maybe the year, thus far -- was the shootout between Miami Central and Belen Jesuit. The Rockets escaped with a 59-56 victory on an Emilio Nadelman field goal in the fourth overtime. Meanwhile, Cooper City (9-0) proved it was for real by topping St. Thomas Aquinas, 21-16, to claim the district title. The Cowboys vault into the top 10 as a result.
Heading into the playoffs, here's what the top five looks like:
3Miami Norland (8-0)
5Miami Central (8-0)
