The grand finale of "RISE UP" airs tonight from Dyett (Chicago).
Dyett became a fully fledged high school in 1999. Since its founding, the school has been devastated by gang violence.
“In my first 18 months on the job, I attended the funerals of three students,” principal Robert McMiller said.
Now, thanks to a Chicago-area construction firm, a New Orleans architectural company, the apparel company Russell and members of the Chicago Bulls’ community outreach program, the school is set to embrace its makeover.
Watch the show tonight at 7 (EDT) on ESPN.
