Penn State lands Youth National Team forward

Frannie Crouse, a Class of 2014 forward from Jeannette, Pa., has verbally committed to Penn State, her family has confirmed to ESPNHS.

Crouse has been a member of the National Team since U14, and currently plays a year up with Beadling SC’s U17 squad. During her freshman year at Greensburg Central Catholic (Greensburg, Pa.), she was named the Greensburg Tribune Review Player of the Year. She repeated that feat this past fall during her sophomore season. She also lead the WPIAL in scoring with 55 goals during her sophomore year.

Crouse is the second Beadling player to commit for the Class of 2014. Teammate Malea Fabean committed to Pittsburgh earlier this year. Crouse is the first confirmed to commit to Penn State for the 2014 class.
