Why Dayton?: "I was first interested in them because they are a top 20 soccer program. Then I also learned they were one of the top 100 academic universities in the nation. After after I visited, I was so impressed with the coaches and the university itself that they quickly became my top choice. I also really liked all the players that hosted me during an unofficial visit."
What surprised you the most about the recruiting process?: "How early the recruitment started. I learned that it was important to do some research regarding the schools themselves and their soccer programs. As a young soccer player, you grow up hearing about UNC, Notre Dame and Stanford, but there are many, many other schools with great programs. I also learned that you have to decide what is most important to you as a student and as a player in order to make this decision. I was amazed at how I knew as soon as I visited Dayton that it was right for me and fit all of my personal requirements."
