Dayton lands instate ODP player for 2014

Nicolette Griesinger, a Class of 2014 midfielder and defender from Strongsville, Ohio, has verbally committed to Dayton, her family has confirmed to ESPNHS.

Griesinger is a team captain for Cleveland United. She’s a five-time US Youth Soccer Ohio-North Olympic Development Program player and has also been selected to the Region II ODP squad as well as id2 National Identification Camps. Her Cleveland United squad currently competes in the US Youth Soccer National League and has twice been to the Disney Showcase final.

On the high school side, Griesinger played varsity for Strongsville (Stronsgville, Ohio), and helped the Lady Mustangs to the Ohio Division I state championship and a No. 5 finish in the POWERADE FAB 50 Fall Rankings.

Griesinger becomes the first confirmed commit to Dayton for the Class of 2014.
