Other Schools Considered: Cincinnati, Kentucky, Louisville

Why Xavier?: "Along with a great reputation for athletics, Xavier is also one of the finest universities academically in the Midwest. Coach [Woody] Sherwood has a great coaching style and made me feel very confident that I would be a good fit for their program. My time spent on the beautiful campus with some of the girls from the team made me realize Xavier was the right choice."

What did you learn about the recruiting process?: "Playing in many college showcase events, I realized that coaches begin their recruiting process very early and that you have to be prepared to start thinking about the type of school and soccer program that appeals to you early on as well. I feel fortunate to have found the right program and comfortable enough to have verbally committed to Xavier my sophomore year."
