KCFC's leading scorer commits to Arkansas

Abby Sieperda, a Class of 2014 forward from Shawnee, Kan., has verbally committed to Arkansas, her family has confirmed with ESPNHS.

Sieperda is the leading scorer on KCFC’s U16 squad, currently ranked No. 1 in the ESPNHS ECNL Under-16 Power Rankings. She has 16 goals on the season, and she’ll lead KCFC in their pursuit of an ECNL National Championship this June.

This spring, she helped bring Mill Valley (Shawnee, Kan.) to the 5A Kansas state championship game. Sieperda scored 31 goals on the season in high school play as a sophomore for the Jaguars. Last year as a freshman, Sieperda earned all-conference honors and was given honorable mention on the all-state team thanks to her 21 goals and 12 assists.

Sieperda is the third confirmed commitment to Arkansas for the Class of 2014, joining defender Gabby de Leon and midfielder Madison Hall.
