InsideFloridaLacrosse.com is reporting that St. Andrew's (Boca Raton, Fla.) junior Andy Wheeler has verbally committed to play men's lacrosse for Rutgers.

Wheeler becomes the sixth player from St. Andrew's to commit to a Division I program. Senior defenders Zach Heard (VMI) and Blake Mulligan (Holy Cross) along with Warrior 40 alumni Max Susskind (Princeton) should help the 2011 state champion runners-up make another title run in 2012.

Two juniors from St. Andrew's were named to the ESPNHS Top 50: Grant Mahler (Cornell) and Conor Whipple (Georgetown) round out a talented 2012 squad.
