Brine National All-Americans announced

The rosters for the 2012 Brine National High School All-American boys have been announced. Sixteen teams from eight regions will compete to be crowned National Champions from June 30 to July 3 in Boyds, Md.

Among the players named to the rosters are McCallie (Chattanooga, Tenn.) junior Brier Davis (Hofstra) and Manhasset (N.Y.) sophomore Benny Borgognone (Fairfield).

Twelve states are represented with players from Alabama, Connecticut, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, New York, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia.

The Brine National Lacrosse Classic brings the top 400 high school underclassmen lacrosse players in the country to one venue, where 16 regional teams will compete to become the 2012 national champion and qualify to compete for an international championship later in the year.
