ESPNHS continues its weekly feature, Around the Crease, which takes a look at players, teams and high school lacrosse news from around the country.

Look Who’s Playing

Posey Valis, a 2013 graduate, plays midfield for McDonogh (Owings Mills, Md.) and has been a member of the Eagles the past two seasons – helping her team to back-to-back POWERADE FAB 50 National Championships.

Valis, who has given a verbal commitment to play college lacrosse for Virginia, played every game on the varsity during her freshman year in 2010.

In the IAAM Championship win over Roland Park this past spring, Posey had a goal, scooped up two ground balls, and a key interception, to guide the Eagles.
