Culver Academy (Ind.) sophomore to Hopkins

Joel Tinney, a sophomore midfielder from Culver Academy (Culver, Ind.), has verbally committed to play men's lacrosse for Johns Hopkins.

A native Canadian, Tinney represented the Midwest team at the 2011 Underarmour Underclassman games. The sophomore was just selected for the Canada U-19 team competeing in Finland and was voted MVP of the Midget box Provincials in Ontario last August.
