Athletes can earn Player of the Week honors just once during the 2012 regular season.

The following players are for the week of April 1 through 7.

Allison Remenapp, Jr., Century (Sykesville, Md.), goalie

Remenapp is a big reason the Knights moved up 14 spots to No. 13 in the POWERADE FAB 50 this week. In two games on Saturday, the junior goalie recorded 14 saves in a 9-4 win over then No. 3 Notre Dame Prep. A few hours later she recorded 10 saves in a 17-8 win against then-No. 35 South River.

Natalie Weitkunat, Sr., Cy-Fair (Cypress, Texas), goalie

In a meeting of the top two teams in Texas, Weitkunat recorded 15 saves in 11-10 overtime victory against rival St. John's (Houston, Texas), including a key save during overtime. Cy-Fair trailed 7-4 at halftime and the game was tied 10-10 at the end of regulation.

Kris Coppolino, Sr., Winter Springs (Fla.), attack

Coppolino totaled 10 points (six goals, four assists) in a 14-8 win over Bishop Moore last week. The senior scored or assisted on the Bears' first five goals to help Winter Springs reach 16-0 on the season. Two games remain in the regular season for the Bears.

Katie Brown, Soph., Lincoln (Ore.), attack

Brown scored 12 goals and had two assists in three wins for Lincoln last week. The sophomore scored five goals on six shots in a 20-9 win over Beaverton, then followed up with three goals and an assist in a 13-10 win over Wilson. The three wins helped Lincoln move above .500 for the season.
