Just in time for the launch of our 2012 Season Preview, the Denver Post has published a list of the all-time lacrosse champions for both boys and girls.

Cherry Creek (Greenwood Village, Colo.) has dominated the state, winning nine titles in girls lacrosse and four in boys.

LaxPower.com has a post about Charlotte Country Day (Charlotte, N.C.) hosting the 15th Annual Charlotte Lacrosse Jamboree on Saturday Feb. 25 from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Charlotte Country Day School. The event will benefit the Preston Robert Tisch Brain Tumor Center at Duke University and The Crossnore School.

Last year’s event raised $3,500.

Top Story: Last week we launched our 2012 Region Previews and the boys’ Southeast Region proved to be the most viewed story on the site last week.

The southeast is ripe with potential POWERADE FAB 50 teams, including Lake Highland Prep (Orlando, Fla.), St. Andrew’s (Boca Raton, Fla.) along with a host of teams from Tennessee, including last year’s state champion Memphis University School (Memphis, Tenn.).

Top Boys’ Commitment: Commitments for the Class of 2014 have started to roll in and Cincinnati Moeller (Cincinnati, Ohio) midfielder Sam Hubbard is one of four sophomore’s to commit to Notre Dame.

Top Girls’ Commitment: Michigan women’s lacrosse program has been picking up a number of commitments lately, including Niskayuna (N.Y.) junior attacker Kelly Schlansker.
