Garnet Valley (Pa.) junior commits to UPenn

Garnet Valley (Glen Mills, Pa.) face off specialist Zach Penfil has made a verbal commitment to stay in state and play men's lacrosse for the University of Pennsylvania.

Penfil, a 2013 graduate, plays club ball for Mesa 2013. The junior middie will join fellow Duke's, Kevin Gayhardt (Episcopal Academy) and Christopher Hilburn (Malvern Prep) at UPenn.

Penn is a Division I program located in Philadelphia, Pa. The Quakers went 8-7 in 2011 under head coach Mike Murphy.
