Midland junior offensive lineman Steve Elmer is 6-foot-6 and nearly 300 pounds. Size like that usually translates well to the offensive line, but Elmer isn't just your typical wide body in the trenches. He's got the technique and skill to be a truly dominant force on an offensive line. That's one of the reasons why he already has scholarship offers from Michigan, Michigan State, Notre Dame, Syracuse and Wisconsin.
ESPN caught up with Elmer to talk to him about the transition between playing in high school, where one can get away with playing purely by size, versus playing at the collegiate level.
