POWERADE Minnesota Rankings: Week 5

After games ending Saturday, Oct. 1

Only one loss plagued the state's top 10 in this week's POWERADE Minnesota Weekly Rankings. Minnetonka, which had been ranked No. 4 in the state, went toe to toe against state No. 2 and defending state champ Wayzata and came up short in a 35-7 loss. But the Skippers held on to its standing in the top 10 and can prove themselves worthy moving forward.

1. Eden Prairie — defeated Minneapolis South, 62-20 (last week: No. 1)

2. Wayzata — defeated Minnetonka, 35-7 (last week: No. 2)

3. Cretin-Derham Hall — defeated Park: Cottage Grove, 55-7 (last week: No. 3)
