Jamauri Bogan has been selected as Gatorade New Jersey Football Player of the Year.
Just a sophomore, the Union tailback ran for 2,260 yards and 27 touchdowns in leading the Farmers to a 7-3 mark and the Group 4, North 2 state quarterfinals. In an Oct. 14 contest against Elizabeth, Bogan rushed 50 times for 376 yards and six touchdowns to push Union to victory.
