To be part of the Boost Mobile Elite 24 roster is impressive enough. But by the close of the weekend, Kyle Anderson had added a lot more to his rèsumè.
On Friday, the St. Anthony star senior showed the versatility that's earned him the No. 5 spot in the ESPNU 100 by winning the skills competition.
And the next day, Anderson dropped 18 points and eight assists during the big game, pushing the Marques Johnson squad to a 142-132 win and earning him team co-MVP honors along with Montrose Christian's (Rockville, Md.) Justin Anderson.
Anderson's big weekend led Kevin Durant to tweet this afterward:
"...slow motion the best high school player in the land!!"- @KDTrey5
For those who don't know "Slow Motion" (or "Slow Mo") refers to Anderson's on-court nickname. And while the senior swingman might appear slow in his ways, he's on the fast track to stardom at the high school level and beyond.
