Everybody loves the Boost Mobile Elite 24 game and dunk contest, but there's nothing like the midnight run. The pros and coaches took on this year's Elite 24 class Thursday morning, and while Rodney Purvis is one of the most dominating guards on this year's roster, it was a cat-quick player with a killer crossover who stole the show.

Rice (N.Y.) alum, UConn national champ and newly minted Charlotte Bobcat Kemba Walker used his quickness, handles and penetrating ability to wow the players and onlookers. Read more on how the night went down here. Also click here for a gallery of some of the game's images.

Don't forget to tune in to ESPNU for the dunk contest (6 p.m. Friday) and the game (7 p.m. Saturday), and follow my dudes @ESPNHSAuguste and @JayJayESPN for wall-to-wall news on Elite 24 while they are out in Venice Beach.
