POWERADE Oregon Hoops Rankings: Week 2

After games ending Saturday, Dec. 24

We're a few weeks into the season, and the state's elite squads are beginning to separate themselves from the rest of the pack. Class 6A champ Jesuit is the new No. 1, taking over for a Corvallis squad that struggled with two losses in its first five contests. Landen Lucas-led Westview is second in the state after a 5-1 start, while Lake Oswego skyrockets to No. 3 after scoring victories over Central Catholic and bubble team South Medford. Also new to the mix is Grant, Wilsonville and West Albany, three teams who have combined for 18 wins. Several ranked teams are in this week's Les Schwab Invitational, meaning there might be even more movement next Tuesday. So stay tuned.
