Fellow editor Dave Auguste (follow him on twitter @ESPNHSAuguste) is out at the Boost Mobile Elite 24, our yearly basketball showcase. This year two Pennsylvania ballers are also at the event, including Friends Central power forward Amile Jefferson. Jefferson is rated the nation's No. 25 player in the ESPNU 100.
Auguste caught Jefferson laying down the smack on former UConn star Kemba Walker, who was drafted No. 9 overall by the Charlotte Bobcats. Walker is one of the celebrity coaches at the event and will be participating in tonight's "Midnight Run."
"Amile says he can't wait to guard Kemba," Auguste relayed in an email. "He won't end up like that dude from Pitt."
(Here's the YouTube clip if you've forgotten about how Kemba broke the ankles of Pitt's Gary McGee.)
