The tweet trickled in late Saturday night, playful in its tone but major in its existence.
"After watching the elite 24 game today, I'm starting my 'Julius Randle please go to Texas' campaign" - @KDTrey5 aka Kevin Durant
Indeed, Randle put on quite the show Saturday at the Boost Mobile Elite 24 showcase in Venice Beach, scoring 10 points to help Marques Johnson's team pull out the win against Raymond Lewis' squad. "It was one of the most fun things I've ever done," said Randle, who earned the nickname Jewels.
Bush's Cameron Ridley, Strake Jesuit's Rasheed Sulaimon and Fort Bend Travis twins Aaron and Andrew Harrison also took part in the contest.
