Texas football lost a coaching legend this morning when Lufkin (Texas) coach John Outlaw died at the age of 58.
According to The Lufkin News, Outlaw collapsed at his home after his morning run and was rushed to the hospital. The cause of death has not been determined at this time.
Outlaw, who won his 300th game this season, had coached Lufkin for the past 17 seasons and led the Panthers to a state title in 2001.
