Amy Neal of Lake Travis has been named Gatorade Volleyball Player of the Year in Texas.
The senior outside hitter racked up 538 kills, 287 digs, and 63 service aces to lead the Cavaliers to a Texas-record 50-0 season and the No. 2 national ranking in the POWERADE FAB 50. Neal was also named tournament MVP for the second time en route to this year's Class 4A state title.
