We want to welcome Bullis and Old Mill to the rankings. A quick look at each team will show you that these teams are getting it done on the ground. Bullis features the area's top rusher in senior back Kevin Jones, while Old Mill has a power rushing attack powered by Rob Chesson. Both teams appear to be among the contenders in the playoffs. The top eight teams remained the same other than Eleanor Roosevelt leapfrogging Friendship Collegiate. This week's big matchup will pit No. 2 Centreville against No. 4 Westfield.
Here's how the top three teams fared last week:
1. Good Counsel — defeated St. John's, 28-14 (last week No. 1)
2. Centreville — defeated Chantilly, 38-13 (last week No. 2)
3. Quince Orchard — defeated Clarksburg, 21-14 2OT (last week No. 3)
